Lorry knocks down two

A man and a teenaged girl were killed when a lorry hit the motorbike they were travelling on from behind near Saibabanagar crossroads of Rajendranagar on Sunday. The victims-- Shankar Rao (23) and B.V. Satya Priya (19) -- were going to Golconda fort for a visit from Santoshnagar when the accident occurred.

Housewife dies in mishap

A housewife, Rizwana (35), was killed when a tractor laden with bricks hit the scooter she was sitting pillion at Fever Hospital crossroads in Nallakunta on Saturday night. The couple was returning home after attending a function at Seetaphalmandi, the Nallakunta SI, Subbaiah, said.

Killed in accident

A 27-year-old man, M. Gangadhar, died after a four-wheeler hit the motorcycle he was riding in at Amberpet on Saturday night. A resident of Tirumalanagar, the victim was shifted to a nearby private hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
