Nodal officers' meet inaugurated

PATHANAMTHITTA: District Collector Rabeendra Kumar Agarwal has inaugurated the meeting of the nodal officers attached to the Akshaya project to review the progress of the pre-launch groundwork for the E-Literacy campaign in the district on Tuesday.

The e-literacy campaign will be launched in the district in July. District Planning Officer K.P. Babu, who is also the district project coordinator, Akshaya coordinator P. Sangeetha and the master trainer R.Ajithkumar also spoke.

Awareness class

An awareness class for computer professionals on the e-literacy programme as part of the Akshaya project would be held at 10 a.m. in Thiruvalla Town Hall and at the Aban Arcade in Pathanamthitta at 2 p.m. on June 16.

Those who wished to set up Akshaya centres in panchayats may apply for the same to the Project Coordinator, Akshaya Project, Kannankara, Pathanamthitta on or before June 18.
