Isolated rain likely in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over coastal Karnataka, at a few places over north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu,south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh.

The maximum temperature fell markedly to appreciably at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, fell at one or two places over rest Telangana, rest Rayalaseema, north Kerala, coastal and north interior Karnataka, north coastal Tamil Nadu, rose at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were markedly above normal at many places over Telangana, at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal and north interior Karnataka, above normal at one or two placesover south Kerala, south interior Karnataka, rest Tamil Nadu, rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, below normal at one or two places over rest north interior Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Friday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Kerala, Lakshadweep and coastal Karnataka and at a few places over interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andhra Pradesh.

Heat Wave Warning: Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail over some parts of Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next two days.
