Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURA: M: Leader of the Opposition V. S. Achuthanandan has urged Transport Minister N. Sakthan to avert a strike by KSRTC employees by confirming the services of casual employees who constitute one-third of KSRTC's staff strength.

Inaugurating an indefinite fast before the Transport Minister's residence here by KSRTC employees today, Mr. Achuthanandan regretted that the Minister had not given due attention to the employees' demand.
