SAY exam centres notified

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Board of Higher Secondary Examination has published the list of centres for the Save A Year practical examinations of rare subjects.

Candidates appearing for the practical examination on Gandhain studies, social work, psychology and Communicative English from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta districts should report at Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Kollam. The centre for geology is K.P.N.M. Higher Secondary School, Chirayinkeezh and G.V. Higher Secondary School, Kulathoor in Neyyatinkara for electronics. Cotton Hill Government Higher Secondary School here is the centre for home science students except for those from Alappuzha district. The Aluva Government Higher Secondary School is the centre for Gandhian studies, social work, psychology and Communicative English for students hailing from Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam and Thrissur districts. The centre for geology is Elamakkara Government Higher Secondary School in Ernakulam and Muthalakkodam St. George Higher Secondary School, Thodupuzha, for electronics. The centre for home science, also for students from Alappuzha district, is S.R.V. Higher Secondary School, Ernakulam.

Kozhikode Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School is the examination centre for the students of Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad districts who are appearing for Gandhian studies, social work, psychology and Communicative English. The centre for geology is Government Higher Secondary School, Kuttipuram and Karimpuzha Higher Secondary School at Thottara in Palakkad is the centre for electronics. The centre for home science is S.V. Higher Secondary School, Palamedu in Malappuram.

The Payyannur Municipal Higher Secondary School is the centre for Gandhian studies, social work, psychology and Communicative English for the students of Kannur, Mahe and Kasaragod districts. Udumma Government Higher Secondary School is the centre for geology. Aralam Government Higher Secondary School is the centre for electronics. Mambram Higher Secondary School, Kannur, is the centre for home science.

Students should contact the teachers and chief superintendents at the respective centres, a board release said.
