KOZHIKODE: The South Indian Cultural Festival will be organised by the Calicut University Union on the Kozhikode Medical College campus on Thursday and Friday. Nedumudi Venu, actor, will inaugurate the festival at 6 p.m. on Friday. Sculptor Kanahi Kunhiraman will be the chief guest. Karthika, actress, will light the traditional lamp. Calicut University Vice-Chancellor Syed Iqbal Hasnain will honour Nedumudi Venu and Kanahi Kunhiraman on the occasion. A painting exhibition will be organised at the Medical College Auditorium from Thursday. The newly constructed open stage at the college will be inaugurated by poet O.N.V. Kurup.
