Federer is the top seed

LONDON: : Roger Federer has been seeded top, with Andy Roddick second ahead of Lleyton Hewitt and French Open winner, Rafael Nadal at the Wimbledon Championship which begins on Monday.

Hewitt, the 2002 champion, is world-ranked second but the All England Club has given the second seeding to Roddick, last year's beaten finalist and a three-times champion on grass at Queen's.

As widely expected, Tim Henman has been made sixth seed.

Lindsay Davenport is the top seed in the women's draw, ahead of last year's winner, Maria Sharapova.
