MYSORE: The Mysore Grahakara Parishat has called upon the public and experts in town and urban planning to give suggestions for the Comprehensive Development Plan for Mysore being formulated by the authorities. In a release, Bhamy V. Shenoy of the parishat said that the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) is formulating a master plan for Mysore to avoid chaos arising out of unplanned development. Persons with expertise in any aspect of urban planning, such as population forecasting, traffic and transport, water supply and sewage, garbage management, energy supply, connectivity, finance, zoning and building bylaws, health and sanitation and education may assist Mysore Urban Development Authority in the formulation of the master plan. Dr. Shenoy has urged persons interested to contact the parishat (0821-2515150) before June 30 and join the planning process that may take several months.
