CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government would ``sympathetically consider'' the demands of pensioners besides assuming full respect to them, State's chief parliamentary secretary Harbans Lal said here today. Presiding over a meeting of State Advisory committee for Pensioners here, he listened to the demands and problems being faced by the pensioners and assured that their demands would soon be put before Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, who was also the Chairman of the Committee. He said that those district-level committees, who had already completed their terms, would be soon re-constituted.
