BELGAUM: The Directorate of Census Operations (Karnataka) has brought out population booklets for all the 27 districts in the State.According to a release by the Deputy Director of the directorate, S.R. Raghavendra Rao here on Wednesday, the price of the booklet is Rs. 25 for Koppal, Gadag, Dharwad, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Kadagu and Chamarajanagar districts; Rs. 30 for Bagalkot, Bijapur, Bidar, Raichur, Haveri, Bellary, Chitradurga, Davangere, Chikmagalur and Bangalore Urban districts; Rs. 35 for Uttara Kannada, Mandya and Mysore districts; Rs. 40 for Belgaum, Gulbarga, Shimoga and Bangalore Rural districts; Rs. 45 for Hassan district; Rs. 50 for Tumkur and Rs. 55 for Kolar district. The booklet can be obtained on payment of cash or by sending a demand draft drawn in favour of the `Assistant Director of Census Operations, Karnataka,' payable at Bangalore (postal charges extra).
