NALGONDA: Braving the scorching sun, 17 NCC cadets of the 31 Andhra Battalion, led by an officer, Vaddula Venkat Reddy, set off on a cycle expedition here on Wednesday. K.P. Bhaskaran, group commander of the Warangal group, flagged off the expedition at a brief function at the NG college grounds. The team will cover 355 km during the seven-day expedition. They will cover 50 to 70 km per day and interact with villagers. The wide range of topics they are going to discuss with the people include population, literacy, adult education, environment and prohibition. Congratulating the cadets for their keen interest, Mr. Bhaskaran advised them to take care of their health.
