New medical scheme

The PSG Hospitals has introduced a new scheme under which people can register as general out-patients for Rs. 50 a month.

A release said that a single registration would be necessary for out-patient consultation in departments such as medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology, ENT (ear, nose, throat), dermatology and dental.

It would benefit patients who needed to visit more than one out-patient department within a month since registration.

No power

There will be no power supply in the following areas between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on June 17 owing to maintenance work at Saravanampatty sub-station:

Saravanampatty, Vilankurichi, Velandipalayam, Kalapatti, Cheranmaanagar, Ammankoil, Chinnavedampatti, Ramakrishnapuram, Sivanandapuram, Akkammal Steel Company, Vellakinar, Urumandampalayam, Somayampalayam, TVS Nagar, Gounder Mill (MTP Road), Subramaniampalayam, Kanuvai, KNG Pudur, Kavundampalayam, Maniyakarampalayam, Nallampalayam, Lakshmi Nagar, Rathinapuri, Nachimuthu Nagar, Jayaprakash Nagar, Ganapathi Nagar, Kannappa Nagar and Ganesh Nagar.

At Arasur sub-station, the same day between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.: Arasur, Pothiyampalayam, Sulur, Kurumbapalayam, Muthugoundenpudur, Neelambur, Rasipalayam, Sengodagoundenpudur, Sellappampalayam, Vagarayampalayam, Mudalipalayam, Kankeyampalayam and Solakkattupalayam.
