Spoken English course

A four-week Spoken English course will be conducted at Literacy House, Andhra Mahila Sabha, from July 18.

The course would aim at teaching error-free spoken English, including functional grammar, public speaking, speech practice, role play, group discussions and conversation practice etc.

The course would be useful for housewives, employees, students and others.

Separate batches would be organised for graduates and students from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. respectively. The last date for registration is July 10. More details can be had from Ph.No. 27098406, 27096464, according to a press release.

Workshop on pronunciation

The Centre for English Language Training, College of Engineering, Osmania University, will conduct a one day workshop on pronunciation skills, accent neutralisation on June 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The programme will cover phonetics of English, accent neutralisation for better communication and voice modulation. Details can be had on phone 27096166 or 27682201, according to a press release.

Training programme

The Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, ANGR Agricultural University, will conduct a three-month training programme in micropropagation of chrysanthemum and stevia.
