HYDERABAD: Nine different vocational training courses have been offered free of cost to the candidates belonging to the scheduled castes, tribes, backward classes and economically weaker sections by the Kavuru Foundation, an organisation run by K. Sambasiva Rao, MP. The nine courses are computers, electrical & home appliances repairs, electronics, zardosi, fashion-designing, beautician, tailoring & embroidery, cooking and type-writing and shorthand. The first eight courses run for a duration of three months each and the last for six months. According to a press note issued by the foundation incharge, G. Lakshmi Narayana, the candidates could contact the foundation on phone 55516505 for further details. Staff Reporter writes: The Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Finance Corporation is issuing application forms for issuing bank loans and other schemes for the year 2005-06. Forms will be issued directly to the applicants. They will have to entering names and addresses in the register put in the second floor, Falcon Towers, Nampally, according to a press release by the Executive Director, Hyderabad district, Karimullah.
