PONDICHERRY: Volunteers of the Puduchery Munnetra Congress (PMC) were arrested at Marapalam Mudaliarpet junction near here on Thursday when they attempted to stage a road roko to protest against the `failure' of the Rangasamy Government in addressing problems of the unemployed youth, those living below poverty line, industrial and textile mill workers in the Union Territory. The picketing was led by the leader of the INTUC in AFT mills R. Ravichandran. Traffic was disrupted in the area for some time.
