Two incidents during APMC elections

GULBARGA: Barring two incidents of booth capturing in two constituencies under the Surpur Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC), the APMC elections in Gulbarga, Chitapur, Yadgir and Shahapur on Thursday were peaceful. The polling was suspended at the Hombalakal polling station under the Hunasagi constituency after miscreants forcibly cast about 30 votess. Polling in the Amlihal polling station in Mudnur `B' constituency was suspended after miscreants snatched ballot papers.
