Pejawar Swami opposes VHP resolution

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: Shri Vishvesha Teerth Swami of the Pejawar Math has come to the aid of Bharatiya Janata Party president L.K. Advani, saying here at a press conference on Thursday that he opposed the VHP resolution adopted two days ago in Hardwar asking Mr. Advani to quit politics altogether.

The Pejawar Swami was critical of the ``content and the language'' of the resolution asking Mr. Advani to take ``political sanyas.'' He also added that he was opposed to the proposed VHP agitation on this issue.
