BANGALORE: Manav Das clung to his lead, but it was Vikrant Chopra who scorched the greens at the Karnataka Golf Association course with a superb four under-par 68 and hogged the limelight in the third round of KGA South India Amateur golf championship on Thursday. Vikrant, the winner of Tour opener at Eagleton last week, was in an irresistible form as he carded string of birdies on the fourth, fifth, seventh, ninth, 11th, 13th and 14th with bogeys on 18th and a double bogey on the sixth. But the overall solid show, saw Chopra climb from fifth spot to third and just two strokes (214) behind the leader Manav Das, who finished on a level-par 72 score, hut kept the lead intact at 212 after three rounds. The results (third round - top 10): 1. Manav Das 212 (70, 70, 72); 2. Gagan Verma 214 (73, 72, 69); 3. Vikrant Chopra 214 (74, 72, 68) ; 4. Manav Jaini 220 (69, 73, 78); 5. Saurabh Bahuguna 222 (74, 77, 71); 6. Simarjeet Singh 223 (72, 78, 73); 7. Vikram Rana 224 (74, 76, 74) ; 8. Jasjeet Singh 225 (71, 74, 79); 9. Jaideep Patwardhan 225 (73, 76, 76); 10.
