Bail granted to Virasam members

NIZAMABAD:
The Revolutionary Writers' Association members, who were arrested in connection with the Aurangabad conspiracy case recently, were on Thursday granted bail on furnishing personal bonds for Rs. 10,000 with two sureties for a like sum each.
According to defence counsel, Gorrepati Madava Rao, the bail was granted by the first Additional Sessions Judge, Mohan Gandhi, to the RWA members -- N. Venugopal, V. Chenchaiah, G. Pinakapani and S. Ravi.
They were arrested along with two CPI(Maoist) leaders -- Ganti Prasadam and Yamasani Surender -- by the police on May 30.
