Life term for murder

CHENNAI: A trial court in Chennai has sentenced a 25-year-old man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife.

According to the police, Kamalakannan of Kundrathur was married to Thaiyalnayaki.

In July 2004, Thaiyalnayaki's father M.V. Raji found her strangulated to death in her home.

He preferred a complaint with the Virugambakkam police.
