Grievances meet

A meeting to address the problems of farmers will be held at the office of the District Collector on June 17.

The meeting will be presided over by the Collector, S. Kosalaraman, a district administration release said.

Kumbhabishekam

The kumbhabishekam of the Pettai Vishweshwara Swamy Temple on Raja Street will be performed on June 17.

Kumbhabishekam for Sowbagya Siddhi Vinayakar will be performed the same day at Akhilandeshwari Temple on Radhakrishna Street (West) in Peelamedu.

Awards

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's Sanchar Sarathy Awards and Sanchar Seva Padak will be presented to its employees chosen for their meritorious service on June 20.

The Vice-Chancellor of Avinashilingam University, Saroja Prabhakaran, will distribute the awards. The Chief General Manager of BSNL, Tamil Nadu Telecom Circle, K. Sridhara, will be guest of honour and the Principal General Manager, BSNL, Coimbatore, A.S. Egaya, will preside over the awards function.

Programme

Osho Premveena Meditation Centre will conduct a `wellness programme' on June 18 and 19 at Karl Kubel Institute for Development Education at Mangarai. The programme will cover unique techniques to relax the mind. For details, contact: 94431-64565.
