BANGALORE: Two persons from the city, including an elderly woman, were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Narasapura village of Kolar district on Thursday. They were proceeding to Mulbagal to visit a temple. The police gave the names of the deceased as Lalita (63) and Sanjeev Naik (38), the car driver. Lalita's husband, D.S. Rao (68) and Rao's relative, G.V. Ravindra, were injured. They are undergoing treatment at M.S. Ramaiah hospital of the city, the police said.
Recovered
The Ramamurthynagar police have arrested two persons on charges of theft and recovered from them aluminium wires worth Rs. 1.50 lakh. The names of the arrested have been given as Saleem Khan (32) and Babu (20), both residents of Vijanapura.
