LAHORE: A resurgent Pakistan upstaged the visiting Indian team, defeating it 3-0 in the third and final match of the inaugural National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) cup friendship football series at the Punjab stadium here on Saturday to end the series 1-1. Mohammad Essa struck in the third minute and former captain Tanveer Ahmed tapped the ball in in the 44th minute. Pakistan then made a sensational start to the second half when Arif Mahmood scored in the 15th second after the break. PTI
