London: The Indian cricketers had a miserable day in office as they failed to contribute to their respective County sides in the National League one-day matches. Sourav Ganguly, who scored a couple of impressive half centuries in four-day games, could make only 18 as his side Glamorgan was thrashed by Hampshire by seven wickets at the Rose Bowl. Glamorgan made 211 for seven with B. Croft scoring 88, with Hampshire achieving the target with seven wickets to spare. At Southgate, Irfan Pathan picked only one wicket conceding 61 runs playing for Middlesex, which beat Nottinghamshire by 31 runs.
Dinesh Mongia also failed with the bat as he made an early exit after making eight runs off nine balls in Leicestershire's score of 218 for three. Leicestershire, however, overhauled Warwickshire's score of 217 for six to win the match by seven wickets. PTI
