Water level

MADURAI: The water level in the Periyar dam on Monday stood at 113.10 feet with an inflow of 772 cusecs and a discharge of 200 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 27.49 feet with no inflow and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 1587 mcft.

Periyar Dam received 42 mm of rainfall followed by Tekkadi -16 and Gudalur - 1.5 mm.— Staff Reporter.
