MYSORE: The sleuths attached to the City Crime Branch arrested a person on charges of theft and recovered valuables worth over Rs. 3 lakhs from him. Sources in the department said that the accused, Dadapir, has been involved in four cases of theft reported in Nazarbad and Udayagiri police limits. The police also said that the crime branch sleuths arrested Dadapir at Ashoka Road on Sunday while he was allegedly trying to sell gold ornaments and other valuables . The police recovered gold and silver jewellery, silk sarees and electronic gadgets from the accused. Sources said that Dadapir has been charged with committing thefts at three places in Gayatripuram in Nazarbad police limits, and a theft at Udayagiri.
