UDUPI: K. Raghupati Bhat, MLA and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Udupi district unit president, said on Monday that the construction of the District Offices Complex should be taken up soon within Udupi city. Mr. Bhat said that a decision on the construction of the complex should be taken immediately. The district offices complex has been inaugurated in four new districts. The Union Government has sanctioned Rs. 16 crores for the construction of the complex, which should be utilised completely. Any delay in the construction of the complex does not augur well for the progress of the district. It is necessary to identify the site immediately, the release added.
