Sheds demolished

BANGALORE:
In a joint operation, personnel from the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP), the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), the Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force and the State Muzrai Department demolished several temporary sheds and a compound wall that had come up unauthorisedly on 2.26 acres of land opposite the Banashankari temple in J.P. Nagar. According to a press release, the land, which was encroached upon by a private party, belonged to the BDA. It was handed over to the BMP for use as it came within its limits, the release said.
