BANGALORE: The Common Entrance Test for diploma holders seeking admission to B.E. courses under the lateral entry scheme for 2005-06 will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Owing to the large number of registrations for the CET for diploma holders, the Directorate of Technical Education had to shift some registered students from the notified centres to additional examination centres. For candidates with hall ticket numbers A 0601 to A 1038, the centre has been shifted from Government S.J. Polytechnic to Maharani's Arts College, Bangalore. For those with hall ticket numbers E 0401 to E 0400, the centre has been shifted from Government GRICP Bangalore to Maharani's Arts College. This is also the centre for hall ticket numbers D 0201 to D 0263. For candidates with hall ticket number U 0001 to U 0229, the centre is shifted from UVCE (Evening) College to Government Science College, Bangalore. Those with hall ticket numbers U 0230 to U 0683, the centre is Government Arts College, Bangalore.
