Isolated rain likely in Tamil Nadu CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of north interior Karnataka, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh. South West monsoon has been active over Kerala and coastal Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala, coastal south interior Karnataka, and at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and north interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Rayalaseema. On Monday, heat wave conditions prevailed over parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh. Ongole and Gannavaram recorded the highest maximum tempersture of 43 degree Celsius in the region. FORECAST (valid until Thursday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at many places over south interior Karnataka and at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Telangana and Rayalaseema. Heavy Rainfall Warning: Heavy rain is likely to occur at a few places with isolated very heavy falls over coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely to occur over Lakshadweep, Kodagu and Shimoga districts of south interior Karnataka during the same period. Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Forecast (Valid until morning of 23rd June 2005): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Outlook For Subsequent Two days: No significant change.
