Swamy leaves for Harvard

CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy is leaving for the U.S. on Wednesday to teach two courses at Harvard University.

One course will be on Quantitative Methods in Economics and Business and the other on Economic Development in India and East Asia. The first course covers the fundamental and main mathematical tools used in modern economics and business studies. The second will be on modern economic development and reforms of the Indian economy, comparing it to Chinese and other East Asian economies, a University release said.
