1:1 bonus from Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills

CHENNAI: Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the directors of the company have recommended a bonus issue in the ratio of one share for every equity share and a dividend of 30 per cent for 2004-05. The company is expanding its denim capacity to 40 million metres from 25 million metres annually. The company has also informed the BSE that Suryakiran International, the subsidiary of the company, has made a strategic acquisition of a company involved in garment exports in international markets.
