Examinations postponed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The SSLC-SAY examinations scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed to June 24 and 25 on account of the motor workers' strike and hartal that have been called in protest against Monday's fuel price hike.

As per the revised SAY schedule, the mathematics paper two examination would be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the social science paper one examination from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 24. The social science paper two examination would be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 25.

University examinations

The University of Kerala has postponed all examinations scheduled for tomorrow to June 25.

There will be no change in the venue and time of examinations. The interview for admission to the M.Phil. programme at the Institute of English would be held on June 24.

The second semester M.Com. examinations have been postponed to July 1, while the entrance test for the M.Phil. programme in the Department of Physics would be held at 2 p.m. on June 23. The entrance test for the M.Phil. programme at the Department of Zoology has also been postponed. The fresh dates would be announced later.

IHRD counselling

The counselling for admission to the management seats for the B.Tech. courses of the IHRD scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed to June 24. Those whose counselling was originally scheduled for June 24 need report only on June 25. There is no change in the time and venue of the counselling.
