Bank of Punjab cancels preferential issue

MUMBAI: Bank of Punjab has cancelled its preferential issue of 93 crore shares to five investors including Nova Scotia Bank and the Bharti group following a proposal of merger with Centurion Bank, a bank official said here on Tuesday.
