BJP launches broadside

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Saket in New Delhi, Vijay Jolly, on Tuesday accused the Sheila Dikshit Government of mishandling the issue of getting raw water from Uttar Pradesh and of making false and baseless statements on the controversial Sonia Vihar water treatment plant.

Charging the Delhi Govt. with playing a cruel joke on the people of Delhi by falsely claiming that Uttar Pradesh had agreed to release water to Delhi, Mr. Jolly said this was a serious administrative lapse and individuals responsible for this should be taken to task.
