Water level

MADURAI: The water level in the Periyar dam on Tuesday stood at 113.8 feet with an inflow of 1560 cusecs and a discharge of 200 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 27.33 feet with no inflow and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 1699 mcft.

Periyar dam received 61 mm of rainfall followed by Tekkadi - 15, Uthamapalayam - 7 and Gudalur - 6 mm.
