BANGALORE: Hilton International (HI) has signed a management contract for a 250-unit "Hilton Residences" at the Embassy Golf Links Business Park, near the Karnataka Golf Association, Bangalore. The Hilton Residences will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The president of Hilton Middle East and Asia Pacific, Koos Klein, said that already, blue-chip tenants, such as IBM, Microsoft, ANZ IT, The Carlyle Group, Goldman Sachs and Fidelity Investment, have signed up for office space that will accommodate up to 50,000 employees by December this year. "It is our hope that Hilton Residences will become a short- and mid- term hop for the world's top engineers, software specialists and business people, especially from the U.S., U.K. and continental Europe."
Completion in two years
The Hilton Residences, which is due for completion in 2007, will feature 250 apartments ranging from 54 sq.m to 180 sq.m. It will have four restaurants and bars, health and fitness facilities, including a swimming pool, squash and tennis courts and a spa. The hotel will offer a business centre, six meeting rooms with a capacity for 30 delegates and two luxury rooms suitable for meetings for up to 20 participants.
