NEW DELHI: The preliminary post-mortem report on the 24-year-old Israeli woman who was found dead under highly mysterious circumstances in a Westend Greens farmhouse at Vasant Kunj in South-West Delhi on Tuesday has indicated that she died from a fall. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West Delhi), Deependra Pathak, the post-mortem revealed that Adi Shaked had sustained injuries in the head, spinal cord, ribs, chin and other parts of the body. She apparently fell from the balcony just above the place where her body was found. The police are trying to find out whether she fell down accidentally or was pushed. The police have recovered a video cassette from Ankush Kholi, who had brought Adi to the Capital about a week ago after he befriended her at Almora in Uttaranchal. The cassette contains an interview with Adi in which she talks about her love for wildlife, spiritualism and her interest in mysticism. "In the interview she said she wished she could fly and that she could feel herself floating in the air just by closing her eyes," said a police officer. Investigations have revealed that Adi had come to India on a tourist visa about four months ago. Her viscera and blood samples have been sent to the forensic lab for examination to ascertain if she was into drugs. While Ankush's interrogation is still on, the police have recovered several compact discs of horror movies from his room. The police have handed over Adi's body to the Israel Embassy officials.
