Flight makes emergency landing

HYDERABAD:
A Sharjah-bound flight that took off from the Hyderabad airport made an emergency landing after a bird hit it on Thursday.
The flight, supposed to fly via Bangalore, was carrying 130 passengers and took off around 6.10 p.m. As the mechanical defects could not be rectified, it was cancelled. The Hyderabad Airport authorities arranged another flight at 9.30 p.m. for the passengers stranded at the airport due to the cancellation.
