CHENNAI: Karur Vysya Bank Ltd. on Saturday opened its ATM network to Visa card holders. Addressing a press conference here the Chairman, Karur Vysya Bank, P. T. Kuppuswamy, said the opening of our ATM network to the mobile VISA cardholders would enable KVB leverage the penetration of ATMs, especially in the hinterland of the Southern states. Both domestic customers of any bank and foreign travellers who use credit cards, smart cards or ATM cards on the Visa platform, would be able to access any KVB ATM for cash withdrawals or balance enquires. The withdrawal amount would be in Indian rupee and for a foreign national holding a Visa credit card/debit card, irrespective of the currency in which his/her account is maintained, it would be converted into Indian currency value and would be shown as available balance.
