ERODE: The Collector, D. Karthikeyan, on Monday distributed 40 tri-cycles, sanctioned by the District Rehabilitation Department, to physically challenged persons. He also distributed cash grants to 40 physically challenged students for computer training. Further, Rs. 1.50 lakhs was distributed to ten persons under the Weaker Section Development Scheme. The Collector received more than 300 grievances petitions from the public and the petitioners sought free distribution of house site pattas, old age pension and water supply among others. He assured the petitioners that their grievances would be redressed in 30 days.
