KOZHIKODE: : The Delhi Policy group, a leading think-tank based in New Delhi, is organising a one-day workshop on comprehensive security in South Asia. It will be held at the seminar complex of Calicut University campus on July 4 under the joint auspices of Kunhali Marakkar Centre for West Asian Studies and the Chair for Maritime Studies and Research. Dr. E.K.G. Nambiar, Head-Calicut University's Kunhali Marakkar Centre for West Asian Studies, said the objective of the programme was to familiarise the faculty and students with the complex problems relating to security, with particular reference to economic, social and environmental dimension. During the last few years, the Delhi Policy group had organised a number of workshops, lectures and conferences in different parts of South Asia on security-related matters.
