CHENNAI: Few film producers and directors like to mention anything about their movie, its story or even some scenes. Their greatest fear: someone else might steal their idea. Last week this resolve of an average filmmaker was put to test when Jothika, Saritha and Kushboo faced the Press. The obvious question to Saritha - What was she playing? She started off explaining, but the director cut her short. Celluloid's film "June R" features some of leading women of Tamil cinema. The director is a woman (after quite a long time in Tamil industry). Revathi S.Varma who has done some 300 advertisement films and some documentaries and short films, is doing story, screenplay and direction for the film. (Actually Jothika's character is named June R). This film is produced by A. Ansari. Revathi Varma was happy that she got the best talent in the Tamil Industry. "Saritha is acting as the mother of Jothika. Kushboo does an important role in the film. It is a family oriented film with sentiment and action. I may not have an item number. But for that it has all ingredients of a box office success."
