Award for scientist
S.S. IYENGAR, a Satish Dhawan chaired professor of Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Science, is making waves in the international scientific community. Recently, he was awarded a prestigious Fellow Award at the 8th international conference on Integrated design and process technology in Beijing, China.
Serving as an eminent computer scientist at the Lousiana State University in the United States, Dr. Iyengar is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award of the Indian Institute of Science. He is an elected member of the European Academy of Sciences in the category of Computer Science. He is also a member of the New York Academy of Sciences. Dr. Iyengar is an authority on sensor networks and has published over 400 research papers and over 15 books.
