Creativity

workshops

The Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE) and IBM, in association with Dynam Creativity Programmes, Bangalore, will organise a series of one-day science and creativity workshops for high school teachers and schoolchildren at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium. The first two workshops will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. Registration for the workshop is free. Participants with access to the Internet are preferred.

Training in making bakery products

The Office of the Commissioner for Khadi and Village Industries is organising a programme to train unemployed youth and housewives in making bakery products. The two-month programme will begin on Friday at the Multi-disciplinary Training Centre, Office of the Commissioner for Khadi and Village Industries, near FCI godown, Vijinapura, Doorvanigar Post. Non-governmental organisations can also sponsor candidates. Interested candidates may contact the office (phone: 25650285 or report on July 1.

Bonsai

workshop
