DINDIGUL: The catch-them-young concept is applicable not only for the selection of budding sportspersons. It could be used to improve healthcare. The Indian Dental Association in association with the Dindigul Dental Association organised an oral health programme at Vasavi Girls Higher Secondary School in Dindigul recently to teach children the importance of oral healthcare. Dentists taught the children the proper way of brushing teeth, importance of brushing teeth twice a day and subtle techniques of maintaining oral health. The aim of the programme was to improve the healthcare of every individual. Later, toothbrushes and toothpaste were distributed free to the participants to introduce the better oral healthcare concept.
