Fuel price hike

The constituents of the NDA, who were party to a hike in the prices of petroleum products when in power, are now opposing it.

The UPA's major supporting block — the Left parties — are opposing the price increase because they are afraid a failure to do so will rob them of the working class' support. Caught amidst all this is the common man.

The Government should at least consider a partial rollback.
