PATHANAMTHITTA: Revolutionary Youth Front (RYF) State secretary Saleem P.Chacko has alleged that the Smart City project proposed by the Oommen Chandy Government is the last nail in the coffin of the United Democratic Front in Kerala. Mr. Saleem was inaugurating the RYF district vehicle campaign on Wednesday, as a prelude to its Secretariat march on July 8. He alleged that the UDF that came to power four years ago, promising 15-lakh employment opportunities had deceived the youths in the State. Instead, the Government abolished 11,678 posts in various departments during the period, he alleged. Moreover, the Government, with its `anti-people' education policy, had literally made professional education a difficult task for poor students, he alleged.
