Nirma picks up stake in SCL

MUMBAI: Nirma Chemical Works Ltd. (Nirma) has emerged as the highest bidder for acquiring 32.2 per cent of the paid-up capital of Saurashtra Chemicals (SCL), a S. K. Birla Group company, along with debt and preference shares from Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Ltd (Arcil).
