VISAKHAPATNAM: A member of the Korukonda Local Guerilla Squad of the CPI (Maoist), Tammala Tirupathi Rao alias Ganapathi, on Wednesday surrendered before the SP, Sanjay Kumar Jain. Ganapathi participated in the encounter at Gunukurayi of G.K. Veedhi mandal and at the Doraguda exchange of fire incident in Orissa. He suffered from ill health.
